IROS 2025 (IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems) took place in Hangzhou, China, from 19–25 October 2025, at the Hangzhou International Expo Center (HIEC).
IROS is widely recognised as a large and high-impact forum for the international robotics research community, showcasing frontier advances in intelligent robots and smart machines and highlighting future directions, state-of-the-art methods, system designs, and experimental outcomes. Beyond peer-reviewed technical sessions and multimedia presentations, the programme typically includes panel discussions, forums, workshops, tutorials, exhibitions, and technical tours, supporting rich interaction and cross-fertilisation among attendees. IROS 2025 was expected to attract over 6,000 leading experts in robotics, providing a strong platform for visibility and exchange.
The HIDDEN project was represented at IROS 2025 through Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (UFR). In this context, Prof. Dr. Abhinav Valada delivered a keynote speech and introduced the HIDDEN project to the conference community, leveraging the event’s broad international reach and high-level audience. The introduction was supported by a dedicated HIDDEN slide, which is available here.
